Build Beautiful Memories with Charm Bracelets
Our mother died when I was five years old. I can barely remember her image, nor do I have any memory of the moment we spent with each other but one thing is definite I will always remember her in my spirit thanks to the charm bracelets that she left me and my sister the week she got ill and passed away at the hospital. These charm bracelets have taken my sister and I during many pretty rough times. We’ve gone from three neighborhoods and have had starting over moments more than any person should but through it all knowing that we had our mother near us was what made it worth-it. We never assumed we were alone because of charm bracelets.
Feels not so long ago when I punched another girl in the stomach during my grammar school days because she tried to scam for my charm bracelet. Her unforgettable name has been forgotten by me. She was the ultimate class mean girl and I was the transferee, from Georgia on one of our starting over moves. She saw my bracelet and asked where I acquired it from. When I informed her it was from my mom she remarked sarcastically that the only reason she asked was because it seemed so cheap.
I believed the day couldn’t get any tougher but when break period came she wanted to pull off the most evil thing. She sneaked from behind to pull the bracelet from me. She said she was insulted by the audacity of my charm bracelet so I had to get rid of it, which was right before I got mad and whammed her in the nose, twice. Better late than never but after many different parent teacher conferences my Pop rose to my position and argued for my actions. I believe it’s never ok to brawl with others but giving up my unique italian charm bracelet had been a thing that I can for no reason exist with out.
