An Easy Chicken Crockpot Recipe

One of the nice things about trying to put together a chicken Crockpot recipe is that Crockpot cooking is so simple and produces such a tender product when all is said and done. I know of many people including our own household that finds the use of the Crockpot to be a real lifesaver when it comes to accomplishing dinnertime meals when time is at a premium. One of the keys to a good chicken Crockpot recipe is that you need to make sure there is enough moisture for the chicken that you use. The kind of chicken that you use can vary, because no matter what part of the chicken that you use, your meat will turn out tender in the end if you supply your bird with enough moisture at the beginning. That moisture can come from cans of soup that are supplied combined with the write amount of water to correspond with the soup. Usually a one to one mixture will do the trick when it comes to your soup to water ratios. The nice things about this kind of dish is that you can throw all kinds of other things into the mix. You can cut up carrots, potatoes and then on top of this you can throw some dried soup mix or spices to add to the flavor–an onion soup mix is popular that way. You can never add to much moisture if you were to ask me. You are better off being heavy on the moisture then light, because if you are looking for a long simmering sequence, you will need more moisture, not less to produce a tender product at the end. It will take a while to get your chicken cooked this way, but it will be well worth the wait!
